HBO On Demand began airing today a four-minute sneak peek at Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix featuring loads of new footage and clips of interviews with Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, director David Yates and loads more. Check out the video here.

XD
Looks so awesome!!!!
Though I stand by my 'Harry has horrible air' opinion. What was David Yates thinking?!

Halloween is coming and then - Elections! [Oct. 9th, 2006|05:50 am]

What's going on in your area? And in your life as far as the magic of the season and the upcoming 2006 elections?

I'm mostly concentrating on finding work. We lost our grant despite federal funding being increased for VAWA. Life moves on. America is the land of opportunity.

I'm with the people trying to vote out a county commissioner who doesn't even live in my county.

And doing lots of tarot readings!

Canada's demands in Arar case [Oct. 8th, 2006|05:17 pm]

I have a question to all republicans: do you stand for this?

Arar was deported to Syria from the United States where he was then tortured. Grounds? "We thought he was a terrorist". He was tortured. For a year. AND the US acted without consulting Canada in any way.

I was surfing through the community [info]foundphotos, and someone had posted a photo of someone in the Military (looked like Army to me, but I'm not an expert)

This is what some genius had to say as a response:
As far as the photo is concerned...I hope the subject is dead and burning in Hell as all soldiers and other military people should be. It's all the creature is worthy of.

...

*attempts to regulate breathing*

I ripped the bitch a new one... but I don't think it was enough, so I came back to my sanctuary on which I lurk. *wavies* I understand people having their own opinions...... but Wtf??!

If anyone else would care to share a few thoughts here on what level an idiot this person is, I know I'd I'd love to listen. :-P

It's just so scary to think that there are more people like this out there. Some people should seriously be sterilized.

Bush Considers Guard Troops For U.S.-Mexico Border

Political Pressure Builds To Address Illegal Immigration

POSTED: 11:54 am EDT May 12, 2006
UPDATED: 6:40 pm EDT May 12, 2006

WASHINGTON -- President George W. Bush is reportedly considering deploying thousands of National Guard troops to beef up enforcement of the United States border with Mexico.

A senior official said the idea is "being discussed" as the president prepares a speech to the nation for Monday night on immigration.

The prime-time speech will be Bush's first from the Oval Office on an issue not involving the war on terror and Iraq.

Bush has been pressing Congress for an immigration overhaul that includes a guest-worker program. But conservative critics have demanded a border crack down first. A compromise measure goes before the Senate next week.
